The Problem with Ordinary Predictions
Traditional prediction apps treat your picks as temporary data. The match ends, the slip is settled, and nothing remains. There’s no proof you called a long-shot upset at 8/1, no artefact to show for it, and no way to build a collection that reflects your knowledge of the game. Kickchain is built around four steps that feed into each other throughout the tournament. Predict. Open the Matches tab and browse live World Cup 2026 fixtures. Each match offers up to three markets: Match Result (home win, draw, or away win), Over/Under 2.5 Goals, and Both Teams to Score. Odds are sourced live from TxODDS TxLINE, so you always see the current market price before you commit. Mint. When you submit a prediction, the app sends a transaction to Solana. Your pick — the market, your chosen outcome, and the odds at that exact moment — is recorded on-chain. The program then assigns your card a rarity tier based on those odds: the longer the odds, the rarer the card. There’s nothing to game; rarity is determined automatically and immutably at the time of minting. Collect. Your on-chain prediction becomes a metal collectible card — a Metaplex Core NFT minted directly to your wallet. Cards carry rarity frames, foil treatments, and your match details embedded in the artwork and metadata, which are stored on IPFS. You can collect one card per market per fixture, complete per-match sets, and work toward filling the full WC26 album. Win. After a fixture ends, predictions are settled on-chain. Every correct prediction scores leaderboard points weighted by rarity: Common cards earn 1 point, Rare cards 2, Epic cards 3, and Legendary cards 5. Bolder calls — and the rarer cards they produce — are worth more on the leaderboard.What Makes Kickchain Different
Most prediction platforms keep your data on their own servers. Kickchain writes your prediction to a public blockchain, which means your card has verifiable on-chain provenance: anyone can check the transaction, confirm the odds you faced, and see that the card belongs to your wallet. Because your cards are standard Metaplex Core NFTs, they are fully owned by you — not held in a custodial account and not dependent on Kickchain’s servers to exist. The rarity system also creates a natural incentive to go against the grain. A low-odds favourite might be the safest prediction, but it mints a Common card worth only 1 leaderboard point if it wins. Calling a major upset at 7.00 or above mints a Legendary card worth 5 points — and you’ll have the on-chain receipt to prove you saw it coming.The Three App Tabs
