Making a prediction in Kickchain is how you grow your collection. You pick an outcome for a World Cup fixture, approve a quick Solana transaction in your wallet, and receive a permanently minted NFT card whose rarity is locked in by the live odds at the moment you tap. Here’s exactly how to do it.
Each market can only be predicted once per wallet. Once you mint a prediction, it is permanent and cannot be undone or changed — choose carefully.

Step-by-Step

Open a match from the Matches tab

Tap any fixture in the Matches tab to open its market picker screen. You’ll land on the fixture page showing all three available markets.

Choose a market tab

At the top of the screen you’ll see three tabs. Tap the one you want to predict:
Predict the 90-minute match result — the home team to win, a Draw, or the away team to win.

Read the option rows

Each outcome is listed as a row showing three things:
  • Outcome label — what you’re predicting (e.g., the home team name, “Draw”, “Over 2.5”, “Both score · Yes”)
  • Rarity label — the colour-coded tier your card will be if you mint this option (e.g., “EPIC PULL”)
  • Odds plate — the live decimal odds at this moment

Check for the MINTED indicator

If you’ve already predicted a market for this fixture, its option row shows a ✓ MINTED label in gold. You cannot mint that market again from this wallet. Switch to a different market tab or choose a different fixture.

Tap your chosen outcome

Tap the row for the outcome you want. Kickchain sends a transaction to your connected wallet.

Approve in your wallet

Your Phantom wallet (or any Mobile Wallet Adapter wallet) will show a transaction prompt. Review it and tap Approve. The prediction is now being recorded on Solana.

Wait for on-chain confirmation

Kickchain waits for the transaction to confirm on Solana. This usually takes a few seconds. You’ll see a brief loading state while this happens.

Watch the MintReveal overlay

Once confirmed, the MintReveal overlay launches automatically:
  • Your new card scales in from the centre of the screen (0.7 → 1.06 → 1.0)
  • A foil streak sweeps across the card face in a loop — more dramatic for rarer tiers
  • The headline “PACK OPENED” and subtitle “Card minted” appear above the card
  • Your outcome, odds, and rarity are displayed on the card front

Choose what to do next

After the reveal, two buttons appear:
  • View my collection — jump straight to your Collection tab to admire the new card
  • Keep predicting — dismiss the overlay and return to the market picker to mint more

What Gets Locked In Forever

When your transaction confirms, the following are permanently written on-chain and will never change:

Your outcome

The exact result you predicted (e.g., “Away Win”, “Over 2.5”, “Both score · Yes”)

Odds at pick

The live decimal odds at the moment you minted

Rarity tier

Common, Rare, Epic, or Legendary — set by your odds at pick

Edition & serial

Your card’s unique serial number within its rarity edition
Bold predictions pay off on the leaderboard. A correct Legendary pick (≥ 7.00 odds) earns 5 points, versus just 1 point for a Common. One courageous call can move you several places up the rankings if the result goes your way.
Kickchain runs on Solana. Make sure your wallet is connected before tapping an outcome, and that you have some SOL to cover the small transaction fee.
